Cancel a Distribution Request
If you no longer want your music to be distributed, you can cancel the distribution request before it has been processed.
When can I cancel a distribution request?
You can cancel a request if it is still Pending and has not yet been sent to streaming platforms.
Once the request has started processing or has already been delivered to DSPs (such as Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, or YouTube Music), it can no longer be cancelled. If you need to remove the release after distribution, you will need to submit a Takedown Request instead.
How to cancel a distribution request
Log in to your Interfine Music account.
Open the Distribution section.
Locate the release with the Pending distribution request.
Select the request you want to cancel.
Click Cancel Distribution (or Empty Order, if shown).
Confirm the cancellation.
Your release will remain in your catalogue as a draft and will not be sent to any digital streaming platforms.
If you can't cancel the request
If the Cancel Distribution option is unavailable, it means the request has already entered the processing or delivery stage.
If your release has already been delivered and you no longer want it available on streaming platforms, submit a Takedown Request through the Interfine Music Support Centre.
